Carson stood behind the counter in a nice black blouse with lace trim underneath a purplish fuzzy sweater which accentuated her dark stonewash jeans with holes in the knees. She also wore her gray converse oxford all stars. She watched the other workers, as she was told to do by her boss, with a bored look on her face. One was working the cappuccino machine, another handing over some change to a customer, and another was in the back washing the fewest of cups that had been used. "How am I supposed know how to use the cappuccino machine if I'm not being showed hands-on? Or how they want the dishes to be washed and where to put them after they've been soaped up, rinsed off, and dried with a rag? And the cash register? All of them are different! How do I know what buttons to press for what?" she asked herself in her head. She walked over to the guy making a medium cappuccino on the cappuccino machine. His name tag told her Hi my name is Sean. "Hey, Sean," she glanced down at his name tag, "I'm new here and I was wondering if you could show me how to use this?" she asked politely.
"Yeah, sure. You see... and he began explaining everything to her.
After that, they moved on to the cash register, and beyond that the dishes, and so on. Her and Sean became very good friends, and he also introduced her to her additional co-workers:Sam, Janice(she did the dishes in the back), and Ricky. She wanted to help the next customer that walked through the front door that went "ding" every time someone walked in and out. It had a big OPEN sign on it, and she watched it intently, waiting for someone to approach it and enter.
